If you’re like me, a power user, or just looking to streamline your workflow, these apps are sure to help you get more done in less time. From a powerful productivity app that allows you to automate tasks and functions with your keyboard, to a customizable browser that provides a fast and secure browsing experience, these apps are essential tools for me in my everyday operations as someone who is fully remote. I’m always looking to keep my mac organized and make it a productive space. Let me share my must-have apps for 2023. I will start with the must haves that have not changed from last year.

Raycast

I’m not sure if there will be an app that every replaces Raycast for me when it comes to must have mac apps. This is more important than any other app on my mac when it comes to productivity, speed, efficiency and automating functions.

Raycast is a powerful productivity app for macOS that allows users to perform a range of functions using only their keyboard. It includes a wide range of features, including quick access to files and folders, clipboard history, and calendar integration. Additionally, Raycast includes support for custom scripts and workflows, allowing users to automate repetitive tasks and streamline their workflow. Overall, Raycast is an essential tool for anyone looking to improve their productivity on macOS.

Notion

One app that has not changed when it comes to MUST HAVES for me is Notion. I’ve created an all in one productivity system which is prefect for my needs and my entire life will be on Notion once they add end to end encryption for data.

Notion is a productivity tool that allows users to create and organize notes, tasks, and projects in one place. It is a powerful tool that can replace multiple apps and services, making it a great choice for anyone looking to streamline their workflow. Notion’s key features include the ability to create and customize databases, templates, and boards, making it ideal for project management and task tracking. It also includes a range of collaboration features, including real-time commenting and version history, making it easy to work with others. Overall, Notion is an essential tool for anyone looking to stay organized and productive on macOS.

Sigma

I’ve been a fan of Sigma OS for some time now but I really can’t stress how great this app is. I thought I had the best browser back when I was using SideKick but Sigma has hit them right out of the park.

Sigma is a popular web browser for macOS that is designed to provide fast, secure, and customizable browsing experience. It is built on top of the Chromium open-source project and includes a range of features that make it a great choice for power users. Some of its key features include tab management, ad-blocking, and support for multiple profiles. Additionally, Sigma also includes a wide range of customization options, allowing users to tailor the browser to their specific needs. Overall, Sigma is a great choice for anyone looking for a fast, feature-rich browser on macOS.

Structured

I’ve started using structured fairly recently. I found over the past year I couldn’t find a calendar app that I could actually stick with. I think I’ve found the one now.

Structured is a calendar app designed specifically for people with ADHD. It is built to provide structure and focus to their day, and helps users be more proactive rather than reactive throughout the day. The app offers a number of features that are helpful for people with ADHD, including customizable notifications, easy-to-use interfaces, and a focus on simplicity. Overall, Structured is a great choice for anyone looking for a calendar app that is designed to help them stay organized and focused.

CheatSheet

While I don’t use cheatsheet as often anymore since I’ve memorised most of the keyboard shortcuts I need. It is still a really handy mac app.

CheatSheet is a simple app that displays a list of keyboard shortcuts for the currently active app. When you hold down the Command key, CheatSheet displays a list of all the keyboard shortcuts available for the current app. This is a great tool for anyone who wants to learn keyboard shortcuts, or for anyone who needs a quick refresher on the shortcuts for a particular app. While it may not be as essential as some of the other apps on this list, CheatSheet is still a great tool to have in your productivity arsenal.

Let me know if you will be trying out any of these apps and let me know if I should share more. You should also check out last years list of must have mac apps.
