Why the 13 inch MacBook Pro?

It wasn’t my first choice and I really would have preferred to wait for the 14 or 16 inch M2 MacBook Pros. My previous 16 inch MacBook Pro 2017 had given up on me and stopped working. If I had the luxury of bringing it to the apple store to be fixed I would have opted for that over getting a new MacBook Pro at this point in time. My previous machine worked well for the most part but for really tasking activities it would slow down and that much I understand it was a 5 year old laptop and it probably just passed it’s 5 year anniversary with me. Sad to see it go.

The 13 inch MacBook Pro is a great laptop for those who want a powerful machine with a large screen. It has an excellent battery life and is the perfect size for most people. For me however, it’s been strange adjusting from the 16 inch to the 13 inch. When i’m browsing and using split screen there just not as much screen real estate for things to fit perfectly without me zooming out. (Of course there isn’t Jésus you got a smaller laptop now) Even still the 13 inch has been great so far.

The 13 inch MacBook Pro is one of the most popular laptops on the market today. It’s lightweight, has an excellent battery life, and offers enough power to handle almost any computing task. Plus, it’s the perfect size for most people.

Design and Hardware

I’m not going to go over all the hardware specs and design since they’re never really that different and quite frankly all I care about is, the fact that it’s a mac and it has a good processor which they all do. The next laptop I get though will definitely not be a 13 inch I just think the screen is a bit too small for me. Who knows maybe I will get used to it and eat my words in the next 5 years.

I would say the only thing that really made me want to wait even longer for the 14 and 16 inch M2 MacBook Pros was that I couldn’t get the 13 inch without the touch bar. My previous 16 Inch MacBook Pro had it and while I have no problem with the touch bar I don’t think it’s quite useful, I would have preferred to switch out for the keys. I just though I’d be getting a monitor and keyboard anyway so it won’t be that much of an issue

Overall it’s a really clean design I have the space grey and the laptop is nice, compact and lightweight.

Conclusion and Verdict — Is the 13 Inch M2 MacBook Pro It Worth Buying?

The 13 inch M2 MacBook Pro is a laptop that has a lot to offer. It has a powerful processor and an impressive battery life. It is one of the thinnest and lightest laptops in the market. However, it is not perfect. The screen size is small, the display resolution is not as high as other laptops in the same price range and it lacks some ports that are available in other laptops.

For me this laptop is definitely worth the buy. I am an Apple fan boy so take my words lightly. I have many other Apple products and they have just made syncing devices so very simple and easy. I basically had nothing to do when setting up this new MacBook. I just signed into my Apple ID and all my setting synced over in seconds. I just had to reinstall all my daily driver apps and reconnect to my Dropbox and everything was set.

I would say that this laptop might be worth buying if you are not looking for an expensive laptop with a high display resolution or if you are looking for something light and thin to carry around easily.
